The Black Cat

This story is about a crazy man who kills hit cat. He cut his cats eye out then later hung it. Later in the book a cat he stalking him.The cat that was stalking him vexed him. He ends up also killing his cat. The crazy man hits his wife in the head with an ax. After killing her, he hides her behind a brick wall in her basement. At the end of the story, the police find his wife. I chose the quote " I may say an excellently well-constructed house. These walls-are you going gentleman? These walls are solidly put together" The narrator is persuading the cops not to look behind the wall where his wife is.
