fall of the house of usher

the house is very dark and in a swampy marshy area and looks very old. The narrator tries to make Usher feel better because Usher is very sick by reading to him and singing along to Usher's guitar. Usher's sister dies and he buries her under the house because he did not want the doctors to take her dead body and examine it. Later, his sister appears again and Usher dies in shock and the house falls to the ground. My favorite quote was, "During the whole of a dull, dark, and soundless day in the autumn of the year." It is my favorite because the narrator describes the setting but I think it also describes the whole basic story.
