The story of Hop-Frog was a revenge tale because it shows how the narrator reacted to the king and his ministers’ abuse. The narrator was called Hop-Frog as a result of king and minister making fun of the way he walks, that caused by his impediment. When beautiful tiny girl, named Trippetta, who served the king by dancing at his court, tried to speak on behalf of Hop-Frog to the king, the king knocks the girl and dumps wine in her face. Narrator said "I am Hop Frog, the jester, and this is my last jest.” This story then showed how the narrator takes vengeance of tricking king and king’s ministers and leading them to death.
