Ms Found in a Bottle

Ms Found in a Bottle is a very dramatically written story. A whirlpool causes the ship to sink that the narrator and others are in. A strong whirlpool like that causes the ship to look crank. The narrator then tells the readers very ascertain that him and one other person had survived the whirlpool. The story gives me an image of a tempest going on, while that was going on a billow completely wipes out the ship. The breach into the ship must have been very aggressive. Instead of appalling all of the people that got wiped out with the ship, the narrator finds a bottle with a message. Showing no apprehension is what helped out the narrator most in my opinion. It turns out that the bottle was basically a miracle that saved them.

"For five entire days and nights- during which our only subsistence was a small quantity of jaggeree, procured with great difficulty from the forecastle- the hulk flew at a rate defying computation, before rapidly succeeding flaws of the wind, which, without equaling the first violence of the simoon, were still more terrific than any tempest i had before encountered." This shows what the narrator had went through.
