"The Language of God" by Francis S. Collins
My story that i brought into class to read went by the title of "The Language of God". This book was written by Francis S. Collins in the year 2000. The main point of the story is to explain and help one more understand the theory of evolution and God creating the universe. I find that the narrative hook is "Was I, a rigorously trained scientist, taken aback at such a blatantly religious reference by the leader of the free world at a moment such as this?" To me that statement seemed like a reasonable narrative hook because it drew my attention to want to keep reading. Some key words i found in the were words like rigorously, agnosticism, inquisitive, angina, and undergirding. The extent that i have read so far makes me want to keep reading. The information interests me and makes certain curiosities grow larger.
