To Kill a Mockingbird

My book is To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. The general purpose of this book is to tell a story of a simple southern family growing up in a troubled neighborhood. I believe the narrative quote of the book is the opening sentence, "When he was nearly thirteen, my brother Jem got his arm badly broken at the elbow." This makes me want to read more to learn why his arm was broken, and how it plays a role in the story. Five key words in the opening chapter of To Kill a Mockingbird would have to include: domiciled, profound, witness, vague, and tyrannical. These are good vocabulary words. Yes my book is good, I have read it twice before and it is a good story.

Domicile- place of residence; house or home
Profound- deep into thought or knowledge
Witness- to be present at as a bystander
Vague- not clearly expressed
Tyrannical- unjustly cruel, harsh, and oppressive
