Sunny Morning on Hudson River

This picture makes me feel calm. It makes me want to just sit down and relax for a few days; not doing anything, not answering anything, all to myself. It makes me think of what could be beyond my line of sight, metaphorically and literally. This painting gives a positive outlook on life and what is to come. This painting was painted by Thomas Cole who was the founder of the Hudson River School. He was born in England in 1801 and came to America when he was 18 to become a worker at his father's wallpaper company. He later became interested in painting and created the above image "Sunny Morning on Hudson River" two years later in 1827.
