THE BLACK CAT

This story has more than one crime; he takes out the first cat's eye, he kills his wife, and then he kills then second cat in the very end. There are two cats and the surprise ending is that the cat comes back and he kills it. When he kills his wife is the most memorable scene to me because his wife was trying to stop him from killing the cat, but then he was really angry and he puts an ax through her head, which was memorable to me because i did not expect it and it sounds very graphic which is surprising
