"The Expulsion from the Garden of Eden" was drew by Thomas Cole to demonstrate the beauties when America was in wilderness, settling in new land of God's glory. In this Expulsion, Cole portrayed both wildness and beauty. It may have seemed as a Garden of Eden which God created to the painter.
This picture reveals the passion and beauty with the mysterious light in the center of the picture. On the other hand, the dark clouds shows how interference to the beauty.
