Hop Frog
The tale "Hop Frog" is known as a revenge novel because Hopfrog wanted to get vengeance. The revenge that the jester was very repulsive , the way that he executed the revenge by lighting the king on fire was horrifying. He killed the king at the masquerade. My favorite part was "I could have sworn it was the gritting of this vagabond's teeth." I also found it humorous how the narrator would tease about the kings physical fitness.

Tell Tale Heart
In the Tell Tale Heart, there is one crazed man who is being angered by another mans eye. The details of the acute knife slowly moving closer and closer to the other man. The details have the reading excited to see what happened next. After killing this man he would go on to stealthily hide him under his floorboards. I found this suspenseful story to my liking.
