The fall of the house of usher

The house in the story is a very mysterious one. Its very dark and creepy. The way its described kind of creeps me out i think its haunted. Its kind of depressing. It honestly makes me wonder how someone could live in a house like that. The usher and the narrator spend their time singing reading and playing the guitar. The ushers sister died from being sick. She had a disease no one really knew about. Then the usher sees his sister later and dies of shock. This gives the narrator the opportunity to escape the house which he does then the house collapses. A quote that i chose from the story was "there was a long tumultuous shouting sound like the voice of a thousand waters - and the deep and dank tarn at my feet closed sullenly and silently over the fragments of the House of Usher closed sullenly and silently over the fragments of the House of Usher"
