The Catcher in the Rye

1. The title of the book is the Catcher in the Rye, it was written by J.D. Salinger. It was published in 1945.
2. The general purpose of the book is to show how somebody grows up and finds there lace in the world.
3. In my opinion, the narrative hook is in the first sentence of the book when the author says "If you really want to hear about it."
4. Hemorrhages-the loss of assets, especially in large amounts.
Molding- the act or process of molding.
Falsies- a pair of shaped pads, usually rubber, used to make breasts look better.
Ostracized- to exclude by general consent from society.
Grippe- to suffer pain in the bowels.
5. I think my book is very good, in fact when i started reading i was so into the book, i did not even notice i had read three chapters. I am looking foward to reading the rest of the book.
