Spirit of War- Jasper Francis

This picture has very vivid colors that complement each other in many ways. The brightness of the sky does a great job contrasting with the dark forest and the clouds of the sky. The people in the painting are very small but still have some presence in the painting. Likewise the castle in the painting is not huge nor small but an average size that adds some mysterious awe to the size of it. The mountains in the background are made to be emphasized with the brightness of them compared to the rest of the painting.
