Hop-Frog

Hop-Frog is a revenge tale because the jester he had enslaved, ended up killing the king. The king constantly abuses the 2 dwarfs, by making them drink, and hitting them with glasses of wine. The king took joking to a level where the dwarfs wanted him dead, and started making up ideas on how to kill the king. Hop-Frog knew he had to kill the king to stop the constant torture and abuse. At the end of the story Hop-Frog got the last joke on the king by lighting him on fire. My favorite quote from the book is "Come Hop-Frog, lend us your assistance. Characters, my fine fellow, we stand in need of characters- all of us- ha ha ha!"
